Working principle of centrifuge
The drum and the screw rotate at a high speed in the same direction with a certain differential speed. The materials are continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the conveying screw through the feed pipe, accelerated and then enter the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force field, heavier solid substances are deposited on the drum wall to form a sediment layer.
The material conveying screw continuously pushes the deposited solid matter to the cone end of the drum and discharges it out of the machine through the slag discharge port. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows the drum from the overflow port at the big end of the drum and is discharged out of the machine through the drain port. The machine can continuously feed, separate, wash and discharge materials under full speed operation. It has the characteristics of compact structure, continuous operation, stable operation, strong adaptability, large production capacity and convenient maintenance. It is suitable for separating suspensions with solid particle size greater than 0.005mm and concentration range of 2-40%. It is widely used in chemical industry, light industry, pharmacy, food, environmental protection and other industries.
Note that the horizontal screw centrifuge may be damaged after operating in an environment prone to wear and / or corrosion for a period of time, and the degree of damage varies according to the magnitude of tension and / or abuse.
The operation company of centrifuge should know that very large stress will be generated during the operation of centrifuge. All high stress parts exposed to wear and / or stress crack corrosion shall be continuously monitored to avoid material leakage.
In order to ensure the safe and long-term operation of the equipment, the company recommends customers to regularly inspect the equipment for corrosion, wear and other damage to high stress moving parts, such as drum and screw pusher. This inspection shall be conducted at least once every two months.
High temperature materials and acidic materials will cause corrosion and pitting.
Do not operate the centrifuge if there are holes, nicks or serious corrosion on the surface and / or cracks on moving parts.
When cracks, dents, pores or grooves appear on the motor or support frame, it is forbidden to operate the centrifuge.
The manufacturer shall be entrusted to repair or replace the corroded and / or worn parts.
